Fingerloop Braiding
In 2021, I took a class on fingerloop braining hosted by my friend Scheiny of Dalhraidia and I became hooked on learning this historical fiber art. Across is my braid catalogue for European-style fingerloop braids.

This is "VI Bows Departed", a historical braid. Morgan Donner has a very good tutorial of this braid, here:

♦ a cord “a grene dorge of VI bowes” of gules, sable, and argent (based on 1450-1475 manuscript)
♦ a cord of 6 bowes of gules, sable, and argent in a triangle (likely of Asian origin)
Fastened with embellished clasps.
